How do I vote?
Open a nominee's page, choose how many votes, enter your Safaricom number and tap Piga kura. An M-Pesa prompt appears on your phone. Enter your PIN and your votes are counted as soon as the payment is confirmed.
How much does a vote cost?
KES 20 per vote. There is no extra fee for voters.
I paid but the page did not update. Did my vote count?
Yes, if M-Pesa took the money. We check every payment with our payment provider again within 10 minutes, so your votes count even if the page lost connection. Do not pay a second time unless you want extra votes.
The prompt did not appear on my phone.
Check that the number is a Safaricom line with M-Pesa and that your phone is on. Wait a minute and try again. For your safety, one number can only receive 5 unpaid prompts in 10 minutes.
Can I vote for more than one nominee?
Yes. You can vote for anyone in any open category, as many times as you like.
Can I see the vote counts?
While voting is open we show each nominee's rank, not exact numbers. Full results are published when each category closes.
Is my number shared with anyone?
No. We keep your number only as a scrambled code and a masked version like 0712 *** 678. See our privacy notice.
Can I get a refund?
Votes are not refundable once counted. If something went wrong, for example you were charged twice or paid less than one vote, write to hamed.nalle@sautify.co.ke with your M-Pesa message and we will help.
How do I become a nominee?
Creator registration opens soon on this site. Every registration is reviewed before it appears publicly.
